Another Free Tool

I just wanted to share a free tool that I have been using recently
that has really helped me in a lot of different ways. One of the
most frustrating things to make is whenever I have to do a lot of
copy and paste from one document to another and unless I take the
time to align the documents properly, I need to constantly be
switching back and forth.

I found this little freeware program which allows me to nail a
window so that it is constantly on top of all the other windows.
Typically, I just keep Notepad open and pinned on top so that I can
copy and paste without having to worry about resizing windows. It
has saved me a lot of time, and I find that I'm using it almost
every day for one reason or another in my online business.

Just so you know, this is not a tool that I had created, it is just
a little free program that I find very useful. Hopefully you'll

HOT!!! Publish Your Blog on Amazon Kindle

So you have your own blog site? Do you believe people are willing to pay between 99 cents and $1.99 per month to read it on their Kindle? You should check out the BRAND NEW  Kindle Publishing for Blogs, Amazon jus launched this service yesterday.

I already tried it and setting it up is a flash. You need to open a new account with Amazon (they won't let you use an existing affiliate or Amazon account), then enter your blog's feed url, title, tagline, description, your full name and a screenshot of your blog.

After that you can save the settings, take a peek at the preview and submit your blog for review to Amazon. All of my blogs I submitted were published in a matter of minutes. Even though Amazon advises that reviews will take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.

Now, don't exptect a lot of money here!

They offer 30% of the subscription price. 

The big question is, how many people are going to read your blog on their Kindle when they can do so for free online?

But perhaps your blog will receive some free and that’s always a good thing now, isn't it?

Clickbank's new Hoplink Shield Links

Clickbank released their new HopLink Shield links, saying they were fully operational.

HopLink Shield is a free tool on the Clickbank website that encrypts the affiliate and vendor nicknames in HopLinks. It is supposed to add more anonymity for affiliates.

Well, it does not quite work as well, though.

Look at the sceenshot below an you realize, that there is a "Decoder" shown, so basicly the new links won't hide anything.

So you might want to keep cloaking your links the old fashioned way, for now at least.

Google Adwords Interface Changes

I am using the new Google Adwords interface for over 1 week and really think it is a great improvement.

Just in case your account has not been upgraded yet, here are the main features:

• New campaign and ad group creation workflow: The old signup pages are gone. Now you’ll add keywords, create ads, and select your settings on the same tabs you use to manage them.
• In-line editing: No need to jump to a second page — you can edit ads, keywords, placements, and bids within the tables on the campaign and ad group tabs in your account. Just hover over a row to reveal the editable fields.
• New ‘Networks’ tab: The old ‘Placements’ tab has a new name: the “Networks” tab. You’ll still manage your placements there, and you’ll also see the summary statistics for both your search and content networks.
• Account tree: Use this new menu beside your account pages to switch between campaigns. (It’s similar to the popular navigation interface in AdWords Editor.)
• Campaign roll-ups: These new ‘roll-up’ views let you see and edit all of a campaign’s keywords, placements, or ads in one place, instead of finding and changing them ad group by ad group.
• Performance summary graphs: Use these custom graphs to compare trends on every level of your account.
• Dynamic help content: Our new help section displays the FAQs you most likely need for the page you’re viewing.
• Copy/move: Lets you copy and move keywords, placements, and ad groups between campaigns without leaving the campaign management interface.

It is a lot easier to use and you can make changes in a flash now. Now I like my BFF Google again.

Since Clickbank no longer allows the sale of products, that in ClickBank’s sole judgment, encourages the unlawful transfer of copyrighted media, such as music, movies, video, and games and screwed one of my campaigns, I had to find an alternative source.

Took me a bit, but then I stumbled across Affibank.com.

Amazon Affiliates get Slapped - Resolution

Bad news for search affiliates from Amazon today.

Here’s what they posted to their Associates Alerts.

After careful review of how we are investing our advertising resources, we have made the decision to no longer pay referral fees to Associates who send users to www.amazon.com, www.amazon.ca, or www.endless.com through keyword bidding and other paid search on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines, and their extended search networks. If you’re not sure if this change affects you, please visit this page for FAQs.

As of May 1, 2009, Associates will not be paid referral fees for paid search traffic. Also, in connection with this change, as of May 1, 2009, Amazon will no longer make data feeds available to Associates for the purpose of sending users to the Amazon websites in the US or Canada via paid search.

This change applies only to the Associates programs in North America. If you are conducting paid search activities in connection with one of Amazon’s Associates Programs outside of the US and Canada, please refer to the applicable country’s Associates Program Operating Agreement for relevant terms and conditions.

So the PPC affiliates get slapped again, this time not by google, though.

Even though I honestly hope, that nobody, who is reading this is singularly dependent on Amazon product sales through PPC, if you lose even a small percentage of your affiliate earnings due to this new policy, this is definitely the time to change your strategy - or at least add to your current arsenal of marketing methods.

So here are some solutions, you can apply really quickly:

1.)Consider is running Amazon feeds on a niche focused blog with a product like Datafeedr. 

2.)Get some (core) content to add value. 

3.) Build a list and connect with your readers regularly.

In other words, build a business blog that doesn’t run the risk of getting slapped by the likes of Amazon or Google.

First Things First

Which is a little bit about me and some ranting about the "Guru's.

I am promoting Affiliate Programs for a little over a year now and I am finally at a point, where I actually make some money, as opposed to loosing most of it to my BFF Google Adwords.

I went through a lot of trials end errors, bought every single e-book on IM and Affiliate Marketing out there and got a little wiser with every book I read and every video I watched.

A lot of e-books and marketing videos basicly tell you the same thing over and over again, so you try it over and over again and you fail over and over again. Yep, Been There.

Some of the "Stuff" I bought into, I returned the same day and had my money refunded, because it stunk so badly. 

Other "Stuff" was actually pretty good and helped me a lot.

Ever had that "Ah, that is how this works" Light Bulb going on in your head? That's the good stuff.

You can ask me about every single Affiliate Know-How e-book or program out there, I probably know them all. As you can see there is no link to any of those products or programs here yet, so you can expect an honest answer.

As time went by, I've gotten really good at spotting free offers from Guru's, which are just as good and helpful as the paid versions.

This is mainly what this Blog is all about.

Giving you a heads up on some of those free offers out there.

Now, I can not promise you, that I will never come at you with a recommendation for a product that you have to pay for. But then again, buying it, would be you choice now, wouldn't it?

For now, we'll go with the free Versions.

As for the ranting, I do have a Poll on this site, just because I was wondering.

Is anyone else as annoyed as me, when those Guru's instead of getting to the point, blabber endlessly about all kinds of crap for 30 minutes, driving around in their sportscars and then for the last 2 minutes, they give you the info, you actually came to hear?
